The zodiac animals
The twelve animals are more than your birth year: they sit in all four of your pillars and carry hidden elements.
In your chart
Your animals are Dragon (year), Dragon (month), Rooster (day) and Dragon (hour).
In plain words
The twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac are the twelve earthly branches: rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog and pig. Most people know only the animal of their birth year, but your chart has four animals, one in each pillar.
Each pillar has a role. The year speaks of your surroundings and family background, the month of your work and upbringing, the day of yourself and closest partnership, and the hour of your later life and what you create.
Each animal also hides one to three elements inside it, so two people with the same year animal can be quite different. In the Bazi calendar the animal year turns at the Start of Spring in early February, not on Lunar New Year, which is why a birthday in January or early February can belong to the previous animal.
